UPDATE #2: We've made the news!

UFE's Responsible Wealth project organized our members to sign on to a letter in support of the Billionaire Income Tax as part of the Democrats' infrastructure and social spending package.

Over 100 of the 250 millionaire signers are RW members or connected with UFE. The letter was organized by Americans for Tax Fairness, The Patriotic Millionaires and Responsible Wealth. Since the beginning of the pandemic, billionaires' wealth has increased by 70% while millions have lost jobs.

This letter was organized because there was discussion that Speaker Pelosi intended to include the Billionaires Income Tax proposal, endorsed by President Biden, in the revenue package. The Responsible Wealth Project is calling on wealthy individuals and philanthropists to use their voice to support the tax's inclusion in the package. (The Responsible Wealth Project organizes wealthy individuals to use their surprising voice to advocate for taxing the rich.)
