Taking Action: Four Things You Can Do to Protest the Tax-Shift Agenda
-
Sign the Petition Against Estate Tax Repeal. Sign the “Call to Preserve the Estate Tax,” a national petition advocating for reforming the estate tax, but not repealing it. Go to www.FairEconomy.org/estatetax. This will link you into actions to oppose repeal of the estate tax when there are votes in Congress.
-
Take the Responsible Tax Pledge. Did you get a tax cut that was good for you personally, but you feel it was bad for the country? Here’s a way to protest. You can take the Tax Fairness Pledge at www.ResponsibleWealth. org/taxpledge. You can register a statement and redirect all or part of your tax break to support organizing for fair taxation at the state and federal level.

Join the Fair Taxes for All coalition. Get your local organization to join the national coalition working to stop the “Shrink, Shift & Shaft” tax agenda. Visit www.FairTaxesForAll.org and sign on for action alerts.
